Mincer Plates
The Standard precutting plate is not a TURBO item and is commomly
used in conjunction with older style knives and plates. Manufactured from
high quality tool steel this general purpose precutting plate is available
to suit machines from D114 to U200.
The Jopp TURBO sickle pre-cutting plate is manufactured from stainless
steel, this design offers a quicker yet more gentle cutting action. Flexing
of the knife is minimised because the sickle design means that the knife
edges are always in contact with the pre-cutter spokes. Available in three
or five spoke format.
The TURBO pre-cutting plate with support bearing and bushing is
a heavy duty plate designed to cope with the most demanding mincing operations.
Idealy suited to mincing frozen and tempered material, this pre-cutting
plate design offers support to the working worm during operation preventing
wear of the knife hubs and, eventually, the working worm and the working
worm housing. The bushing and bearing can be purchased together as replacement
parts. This allows the pre-cutting plate to be kept in optimum working condition.
The bearing is manufactured from high quality self lubricating material
and the wear surface of the hardened bushing is ground to a fine finish.
The unique design of the TURBO system hole plates for industrial
mincing machines out performs any other design. The slanted holes and spiral
drilling pattern help to reduce the pressure on the cutting system when
in use. This reduction in pressure provides three major benefits to the
user; less wear and tear on the system which reduces grinding requirements
and prolongs the life of the cutting system, a reduction in the temperature
increase of the material during processing and a reduction of the mincing
machine power consumption.
Emulsifier
plates used on equipment for processing baby food, pet food and other materials
that require a very fine standardised particle size. These plates can be
supplied in various finishing hole sizes to suit housing diameters from
150 mm to 320 mm, manufactured from high quality tool steel or stainless
steel.
Insert blades for emulsifiers can also be supplied to suit. Prices and technical
information are available upon request.
